So, Donna has supporters, friends, and fans anxiously following her journey. But in this age of technology, we are all content to read our
online newspapers and
blogs, viewing images and
reading inspiring stories that make us feel a part of the lives of others. While some have been lucky enough to offer her shelter, much like someone on the sidelines offering a cool cup of Gatorade to Ben Roethlisberger, the rest of us are merely sitting in front of our computer screens shouting, "Go, Donna!!!"
Remember Forrest Gump? Remember his inspirational cross-country run that spurned others to join his courageous journey? Well, c'mon, people! I see Donna, the sun setting behind her on the horizon,
dozens of followers on horseback behind her - Donna's Cavalry. And, if you don't have a horse, then get on your
Schwinn and get out there.
Forrest "just felt like running." I imagine Donna, although she has a goal, "just felt like riding." Tonto and Jay are like Peas and Carrots again. Life is like a box of silk butterflies. Donna is as Donna does.
